After a few days in Brugge, we trained to Paris! We checked into the Boutet Hotel and walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner, Les Funambules Paris. First time I had duck with mustard! Very tasty and yummy drinks to cheers our week ahead!
First day was Eiffel Tower and Louve Day, but first a stop at the famous Café de Flore! I appreciated the Christmas Coffee! We did a City Wonders Tour which was great! Always love a history lesson! I love how she represents how far they have come 100 years after the Revolution with its’ genius engineering. I love how she is multicultural. She is part American, 1 of the 3 companies used to build the lift was American. She is part German, Eiffel is named after the mountains in Germany where the creator’s family migrated from.
After our ride up the Eiffel Tower we had a long but nice walk to The Louvre! Walked by the Pont Alexandre Another café while waiting for our entrance time. The Louvre is massive and overwhelming! My favorite parts were learning how Catherine de Medici
